Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
GameConv (“we”) keeps data collection to the minimum needed to run a trustworthy codes registry. We do not sell your personal data.
What we collect
- Votes & submissions. When you vote on a code or submit one, we store a one-way salted hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) to prevent abuse, plus your browser's user-agent string. We cannot recover your IP from the hash.
- Usage events. Anonymous, hashed-session signals (page views, copies, searches) used to rank codes and decide which games to add. No account, name, or precise location is stored.
- Email (optional). If you sign up for code alerts, we store your email address and which game(s) you follow, solely to send those alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Third-party services
- Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the submission form.
- Neon — our database provider.
- Moonshot AI (Kimi) — automated screening of submitted codes for spam.
Cookies
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a strictly-necessary cookie to verify you're human when submitting a code. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will add a consent banner where required.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your email or any data tied to you by emailing hello@gameconv.com. Because vote/usage data is stored only as irreversible hashes, it cannot be linked back to you individually.
